Ghan’s Portland home was built in 1899, and renovated in 2020. For years, Ghan’s vision was to convert his basement into a recording studio. It was the perfect, insulated space that was otherwise being used for musical ventures, anyway. We were eager to make his dream a reality.

Turned basement into sound studio. Double layer drywall with sound-reducing caulk layer between. Build new wall dividing space with custom doors to reduce sound transfer, insulated all cavities, new electric with sound putty to stop wave transfer.
